Golden Knights colors

Which pairings carry text
9 pairings measuredComputed with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines relative luminance formula. These decide whether a player name, a score or body copy stays readable.

About the Vegas Golden Knights palette
The Vegas Golden Knights were founded in 2017 and compete in the Western Conference of the National Hockey League. Their primary colour, Vegas Gold #B4975A, is a mid-tone, muted yellow.
National Hockey League teams call the jersey a sweater, a holdover from the knitted garments of the league's first decades. Colour matters differently here because the sweater is seen against white ice, which raises the contrast of every dark palette and flattens the pale ones.
Las Vegas is also home to Las Vegas Raiders, which means local broadcast and print work often has to carry more than one of these palettes.
